We are now the first UK sweeper hire company to add the latest Johnston Euro 6 CX201 Compact to our rental fleet!
Having placed an order with Johnston's for the first seven of the new machines to roll off the production line.
The order puts Dawsonrentals Sweepers fleet at the leading edge of sweeper rental once agian, having also been the very first company to take delivery of the CX201 when it was first launched, and the CX200 before that.
As the UK's largest self drive sweeper rental company we have been trialling the new low-emissions sweeper over the last few months and made the decision to place the order following positive customer feedback on the ride quality and reliability of the machine.
Johnston asked us to get involved in the field trials because of the company's long expereince and expertise in operating compact sweepers. Paul Brewer, Operations Manager, has been managing the trials and is impressed with the machine's performance. "I was happy to get involved in the testing and development of Johnston's new Euro 6 CX201 as I particularly wanted to assess the new exhaust system and the power of the machine, both of which have performed very well", he says. "The machines have been out on test with two local authorities and have prompted very favourable feedback. The extra length has had no impact on the manoeuvrability of the machine, and our customers were impressed with the changes to the drive of the machine, reporting much improved ride quality. It was these positive comments that led to our decision to order seven of the new machines".
Glen Carruthers, UK Sales Manager, adds, "Johnston's Compact sweepers are the preferred product of choice for many of our clients, so it makes sense for us to bring the new Euro 6 CX201 on to the fleet, allowing us to offer our customers the very latest in sweeping technology while also continuing our long established relationship with Johnston."
The new CX201 Euro 6 machines will be delivered in July and are in addition to the 53 sweepers already for delivery in 2015, giving Johnston some of its largest orders so far this year.
